BACKGROUND:
The appeal was originally agendized for the December 2, 2025, City Council meeting and has subsequently been continued several times. At the applicant’s request, the City Council voted 7-0 to continue the public hearing to February 3, 2026. Staff then requested a continuance to April 21, 2026, which the City Council approved by a 6-0-1 vote, with Council Member Buley absent. At the applicant’s request to allow additional time to gather information, the City Council subsequently voted 7-0 to continue the public hearing first to June 16, 2026, and then to September 1, 2026. Prior to publication of the September 1, 2026, agenda, the applicant has requested an additional continuance to the October 20, 2026, City Council meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The applicant requested that the public hearing be continued to a date certain to the October 20, 2026, City Council meeting. Staff will present the item at the October 20, 2026, meeting.
