Staff recommends the Planning Commission:

1.                     Find that the project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15301 (Existing Facilities); and

2.                     Adopt a Resolution approving a one-year extension of time for Conditional Use Permit (CUP) PA-22-08, which allowed for a new cannabis storefront at 2490 Newport Boulevard, extending the approval through November 3, 2027.
