Staff recommends the City Council continue the open public hearing item to the June 16, 2026, meeting, pursuant to applicant’s request.

BACKGROUND:

The appeal was agendized for the December 2, 2025, City Council meeting. Prior to the meeting, but after the public hearing was noticed, the applicant submitted a request to continue the item to the February 3, 2026, City Council Meeting. The City Council opened the public hearing and voted (7-0) to continue the item.

The item  was then agenized on the February 3, 2026 City Council Meeting. Prior to the meeting, but before the agenda was published, staff requested to continue the item to the April 21, 2026, City Council Meeting. The City Council voted (6-0-1) to continue the open public hearing item to April 21, 2026 (Council Member Buley absent).

Before the agenda was published, the applicant requested to continue the item to the June 16, 2026, City Council Meeting to gather additional information.

ANALYSIS:

Staff requests that the public hearing be continued to a date certain to the June 16, 2026, City Council Meeting. Staff will present the item at the June 16, 2026, Meeting.

There are no recommended alternatives.
